This came to mind the other day, while thinking about our dear captive Soldier Gilad Shalit - May Hashem bring him back home, alive, healthy, safe and sound immediately!
Since every detail of everything that happens is directed and orchestrated specifically by Hashem, the question was, what is the message of Gilad Shalit being captured? Why is it his name that is being discussed always in the news? Why do we have to keep hearing the name "Gilad Shalit" ? What is the message behind it?
It then came to mind that we are waiting for Mashiach ben Yosef to come and save us from all our enemies. Ironically, Yosef had a great-grandson named Gilad. He was the son of Machir, the son of Menashe, the son of Yosef. Therefore the name Gilad already seems to signify something to do with Yosef and moreover Mashiach ben Yosef.
Even more ironic is that the second part of his name, "Shalit", was also mentioned in reference to Yosef himself. It says that Yosef was the "Shalit" - the leader, in Egypt. Yosef's position of leadership was actually a foreshadowing of his future leadership as Mashiach ben Yosef.
The message may be that the name Gilad Shalit is actually a sign to us, that Mashiach ben Yosef has already arrived on the scene. But Gilad Shalit unfortunately, is still in captivity. So to, Mashiach ben Yosef is "in captivity", waiting for is for us to do something -- to make mass Teshuva on an unparalleled scale. We need to trust in Hashem a REAL trust beyond a shadow of a doubt and realize that nobody can help us but Him. (Maybe the key to Mashiach is through Hamas who captured Gilad Shalit and all that will ensue from this war).
Please visit BringMashiach.com and accept to become better in any way and write it up for all to see and become inspired. May we all be Zoche (merit) to see the real Mashiach ben Yosef with Hashem's mercy very soon, Amen.

very interesting. Moshiach ben Yosef must undergo suffering in captivity. Yosef himself also did.
ReplyDeleteOooooo, I like it. Hazak Uvaruch.

Tamar,
I found your December 16th broadcast and interview with Rabbi Herschel Brand very interesting. I have enjoyed studying the prophecies of the Messiah for a long time but have recently taken a greater interest in them. I suppose this is due in part to what I have often heard you say on air; that the time of Messiah is just about here. We know that the hand of G-d has always been upon His people Israel but these past one hundred years have shown that HaShem is, in a remarkable way, once again actively fulfilling His Word and Will. We witnessed this in the Balfour Declaration, Israel’s independence, the capture of Jerusalem, the thousands making Aliyah, the abandoning of Gaza, and the impending war of Gog and Magog. You are right Tamar, Messiah is coming and the anticipation of his arrival has never been greater.
I want to share something with you that I uncovered this past summer and which I believe will interest you greatly. However, before I tell you what that is, let me warn you upfront that it does involve a controversial passage of Scripture. As I’m sure you are aware, Daniel 9 has often been used as a polemic by Christians to prove that Jesus was Messiah. That is not what I am trying to do here, so please do not reject what I am about to tell you out of hand simply because it employs a similar mathematical interpretation.
I will spare you a lengthy exposition of the prophecy and assume your knowledge of it already. So here you go:
Daniel chapter 9:24-27 tells us from the going forth of an order to rebuild Jerusalem’s walls unto mashiyach nagiyd would be 7 weeks (49 years) and 62 weeks (434 years) for a total of 69. So given this formula we need only to find a suitable date from which to start counting down. To my knowledge there have only been two occasions given with an order to rebuild the walls of the Holy City. One is given by Artaxerxes Longimonus in Nehemiah chapter 2 and the other by Suleiman the Magnificent, Sultan of the Ottomans.
This is where it gets exciting. Let us focus on the second order given by Suleiman, who rebuilt the Old City walls of Jerusalem. This reconstruction of the city walls occurred, according to my research, in or around the year 1539. If we apply the aforementioned math correctly this brings us to a date in or around the year 2015. September 23rd, 2015 interests me greatly because it falls on the 10th day of Tishrei (Yom Kippur) and is exactly 7 weeks (49 years) to the day from the capture of Jerusalem on June 7th, 1967.
Remember, there were 69 weeks of years given from the order to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem unto Messiah. However these 69 weeks were divided into two portions, 7 weeks and 62 weeks. So let’s begin counting backward from September 23rd, 2015 and see where we end up:
September 23rd 2015 – 7 weeks (49 years) = June 7th, 1967 (Jerusalem taken)
June 7th, 1967 – 62 weeks (434 years) = August 1539 (Jerusalem’s walls rebuilt)
-or-
August 1539 (Jerusalem’s walls rebuilt) + 483 years = September 23rd, 2015 (Messiah revealed).
Is it possible that we may know the day when Mashiach ben David will be revealed? I believe that this is entirely probable. It fits perfectly within the prophetic timeline given in Daniel and it would appear that every other prophetic signal spoken of concerning Messiah is coming to pass!
If you would like to read more about this topic, see further evidences supporting this timeline and receive my complete research on this subject I would be more than pleased to provide it to you.

It will not take that long. Moshiach is almost ready, Gog is already in power(Obama),and the world getting in deep crisis at the current pace, would not last that long. It´s all going to happen in 2009.
ReplyDeleteha' Kadosh Baruch Hu, Blessed be He. G-d may well be sending the Moshiach very soon. I strongly feel that Moshiach ben David is readying himself for this world's enlightenment.
ReplyDeleteMay the righteous ones keep blessing The Holy One of Israel, now.
